Before the Plate
Film screening

September 25
7:00 pm
(Doors open @ 6:30pm)
We hear things daily about where our food comes from. Most of the time, the news is grim. Bad news sells.

But what if we step back? What if we looked at the whole picture? What if we could literally see what it takes to get food to our plate.

This film explores the questions, the stories and the people behind where our food comes from and how it gets to our plates, told by
John Horne, head chef at Toronto’s Canoe restaurant. (watch trailer)
